The Colombo District Court today rejected the petition filed by Duminda Dissanayake seeking an interim injunction preventing Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe from functioning as the Chairman and Keerthi Udawatta as Acting General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP). 
At least 10 parcels containing narcotics including Kush cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy pills have been detected at the Central Mail Exchange, during the inspections carried out by officers of the Narcotics Control Unit of Sri Lanka Customs.
