The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has granted the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) an extension of two weeks for electricity tariff revision submission until December 6, 2024. 
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara has requested the public to refrain from engaging in activities that may disturb students during the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A'L) examination period. 
Allegations of illegal financial gains connected to the contentious E8 visa scheme have been directed at former Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara. 
Gampaha District Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harshana Rajakaruna says that the SJB is ready to join together with the United National Party (UNP), if former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will allow Sajith Premadasa to take over the leadership.
