The Kaduwela District Court today (13) issued an enjoining order preventing any individuals from disrupting the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe and Acting General Secretary Keerthi Udawatte from functioning in their respective roles. MORE..
Police have used water cannons to disperse protesting university non-academic staff near Diyatha Uyana Junction at Battaramulla, Ada Derana reporter said. 
In response to the concerns raised surrounding the alleged irregularities pertaining to the 2023 (2024) G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination s English and Science question papers, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha affirmed that measures will be taken to prevent any injustices to the affected students. 
The Nugegoda Magistrate s Court has issued an order preventing the students and non-academic staff of the Open University of Sri Lanka and the University of Sri Jayawardenapura from engaging in a protest march near several schools in the Nugegoda area where G.C.E.
