Allegations of illegal financial gains connected to the contentious E8 visa scheme have been directed at former Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara. 
A group of individuals holding South Korean E-8 visas is engaged in a continuous protest in front of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) in Battaramulla, demanding solutions to their issues. 
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara has requested the public to refrain from engaging in activities that may disturb students during the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A'L) examination period.
