A 53-year-old man from Sri Lanka, internationally wanted for a murder committed in Bucharest in 1991 and arrested in Germany at the beginning of this year, will be brought to Romania on April 23 to serve a 19-year prison sentence. 
The Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) has filed a fundamental rights (FR) petition before the Supreme Court seeking an order that the fundamental rights have been violated through the purchase of certain types of drugs including Human Immunoglobulin vials, without following the proper procurement process. 
Police have arrested the suspect related to the incident of misleading a foreigner and selling an Ulundu Wadey and a cup of tea for an exorbitant price at a restaurant in the Kalutara area.
