The Chairman of the Litro Gas Company, Channa Gunawardena says that the prices of its domestic LP Gas cylinders will remain unchanged for the month of July 2025. 
Three-wheeler operators say they expected a considerable reduction in prices of fuel as promised by the National People s Power (NPP) during the election stage. 
The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) says that since a maximum retail price has been imposed on rice, raids will be conducted to penalize traders who sell rice at higher prices.
