Importers issue clarification on milk powder prices

A final decision has yet to be taken regarding reducing the prices of imported milk powder, the importers say. 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday expressed gratitude to Iran for their technical support, emphasizing that without Iran s assistance, Sri Lanka could not have diverted the Uma Oya tributaries into Kirindi Oya. 
Heavy traffic is reported in parts of Colombo as multiple roads remain closed due to the arrival of Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi. 
Sri Lanka s Secretary Defence General Kamal Gunaratne has held bilateral talks with Russia s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in St. Petersburg. 
The price of imported milk powder will be reduced with effect from tomorrow (25), according to the Milk Powder Importers Association.
