The government announced that the Rs. 3,000 allowance designated for elderly individuals aged over 70, enrolled in the "Aswesuma" welfare benefit program, has been credited to their respective bank accounts. 
Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are scheduled to issue an official statement this morning (23) regarding the third review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). 
The Government of Sri Lanka says that discussions related to the third review under the Extended Fund Facility of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program were successfully concluded today (22). 
SriLankan Airlines has been honored with the highly coveted 2025 APEX Best Entertainment Award for the Central'Southern Asia region. 
Sri Lanka s Foreign Ministry announced that Sri Lanka was among thirty-one (31) members elected to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) by the UN General Assembly on 20 November 2024.
