A 54-year-old man was shot dead by two gunmen in Bogahapitiya area of Ahungalla on Wednesday evening (08). 
The Meteorology Department says showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in most provinces of the island after 2.00 p.m. 
Three persons including police officers have been arrested by Bribery Commission officers while accepting a bribe of Rs. 200,000.
