The owner of a street food eatery in Aluthkade, who was arrested for price-gouging a foreign tourist and behaving in a verbally aggressive manner, has been granted bail. 
A 31-year-old from Wariyapola has been arrested for allegedly singing a distorted version of the popular New Year song Soorya Mangalya by Rohana Beddage and sharing it on social media, police said. 
The Department of Immigration and Emigration says its new visa process and the online visa application portal will be implemented today (17).
