(UPDATED) At least eight persons including 06 children are reported missing while two children have been rescued after the tractor they were travelling on was caught in flood waters in Karaitivu in Ampara District this evening (26). 
A total of six flights scheduled to land at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake have been diverted to the Mattala Airport and the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in India due to adverse weather conditions. 
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the announcement of a staff-level agreement for the third review under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Extended Fund Facility program for Sri Lanka.
