Former Minister Mervyn Silva, former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera and three others arrested and remanded for allegedly selling a plot of state-owned land in Kiribathgoda to a private party by forging documents, have been further remanded. 
Parliament is scheduled to convene from June 3 (Tuesday) to June 6 (Friday) according to Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera. 
Former Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage, who was arrested and remanded in connection with the case filed over the importation of a shipment of substandard organic fertiliser from a Chinese company during the previous administration, has been granted bail, Ada Derana reporter said.
