The body of a woman who had died under suspicious circumstances has been found inside a house in the Kaluwalagoda area of Uragasmanhandiya. 
The Supreme Court on Wednesday (May 08) declared that State Minister Diana Gamage is not legally qualified to hold a parliamentary seat. 
Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana said that a Cabinet paper was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers to increase the retirement age of certain healthcare services including nursing staff to 61 years.
