A total of 34 Police officers including Officers-in-Charge (OICs) of Sri Lanka Police have been transferred and assigned to new positions with immediate effect. 
At least 133 people were killed after an Air India flight crashed near the Ahmedabad airport on Thursday, according several Indian media outlets. 
The Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) has recommended that an audit be conducted on the daily financial loss incurred due to train cancellations. 
An Air India Ahmedabad-London flight crashed at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad during take-off, according to foreign media reports.
