Allegations of illegal financial gains connected to the contentious E8 visa scheme have been directed at former Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara. 
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $200 million loan to upgrade Sri Lanka s power sector infrastructure, enhancing the reliability of transmission and distribution networks and facilitating greater integration of renewable energy. 
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed two new secretaries to ministries, the President s Media Division (PMD) stated in a statement.
