At least 36 people have been killed and over 30 others injured in a massive explosion inside a chemical factory in the southern Indian state of Telangana, officials said Tuesday. 
The Colombo Magistrate s Court has ordered the remand of three suspects, including former Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT), Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasingha, until July 8. 
The Chairman of the Litro Gas Company, Channa Gunawardena says that the prices of its domestic LP Gas cylinders will remain unchanged for the month of July 2025. 
Three-wheeler operators say they expected a considerable reduction in prices of fuel as promised by the National People s Power (NPP) during the election stage.
