Concluding a two-day visit, IFC s Vice President for Asia Pacific, Riccardo Puliti, signaled IFC s commitment to supporting Sri Lanka s ongoing reforms and growth agenda, while emphasizing the importance of private sector-led development for inclusive economic growth. 
Sri Lanka s official reserve assets increased by 9.6% to USD 5.43 billion in April 2024, compared to USD 4.96 billion in March 2024, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). 
It was decided at the Cabinet meeting held today (06) to maintain the existing US $50 fee for a 30-day visa for foreigners visiting Sri Lanka, the President s Media Division reported. 
Underworld criminal gang leader Ramesh Priyajanaka, also known as Manna Ramesh , who was arrested in Dubai has been brought back to Sri Lanka this morning (07) by a team of CID officers, the Police Spokesman said. 
All twenty-two persons who were arrested during the protest by unemployed graduates at the North Central Provincial Council building have been granted bail by the court.
