Officers attached to the Narcotics Control Unit of Sri Lanka Customs have arrested a passenger at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake with Gold Gel weighing nearly 2 kilograms and estimated to be worth around Rs. 40 million. 
The Cricket Selection Committee has selected a 15-member squad to take part in the upcoming ICC Men s T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said.

A Gazette notification has been issued stating that Mujibur Rahman has been nominated by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) to fill the vacancy in Parliament created by the disqualification of Diana Gamage as Member of Parliament by a Supreme Court verdict.

Amith Jayasundara, says that a complaint will be lodged with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (10) concerning irregularities detected during the ongoing G.C.E.
