The Ella-Wellawaya road which was temporarily closed due to inclement weather conditions has been reopened for traffic movement. 
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has highlighted Sri Lanka s commendable macroeconomic policies, rapid inflation decline, and steady economic growth. 
The Department of Meteorology says showery and windy conditions are expected to enhance due to pre-monsoonal conditions over the country and surrounding sea areas.
