The three-day adjournment debate on the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks will be taken up in parliament today (24) in accordance with a motion brought forward by the Opposition. 
The court order preventing the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from ousting its members Mahinda Amaraweera, Duminda Dissanayake, and Lasantha Alagiyawanna from their respective party positions has been extended. 
Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi jointly inaugurated the Uma Oya Multipurpose Development Project (UOMDP) on Wednesday (24). 
U.N. rights chief Volker Turk said on Tuesday that he was "horrified" by the destruction of the Nasser and Al Shifa medical facilities in Gaza and reports of mass graves containing hundreds of bodies there, according to a spokesperson.
