The Supreme Court has concluded its hearing of the petitions filed challenging the proposed Sri Lanka Electricity Bill, which includes proposed reforms for the electricity sector. 
The driving licenses of the 15 motorcycle riders who were arrested for engaging in illegal street racing and reckless riding on Galle Road in Bambalapitiya last week, have been suspended for six months by the court, the Police Media Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said. 
The Kaduwela District Court today (13) issued an enjoining order preventing any individuals from disrupting the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe and Acting General Secretary Keerthi Udawatte from functioning in their respective roles. MORE..
