Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said that arrangements are in place to establish 1,220 school clusters across the country and 350 school boards are to be formed to oversee their operations under the initial phase of educational administration reforms. 
An "unprecedented" manhunt is taking place in northern France for a prisoner who escaped during a deadly ambush. 
A total of 264 new leprosy patients have been identified from across the island during the period from the beginning of this year, according to the Anti-Leprosy Campaign (ALC).
