President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed the resumption of the "Suraksha" student insurance program, which was temporarily suspended due to economic challenges. Starting from the first week of June, all school students across the island will once again be able to benefit from this insurance scheme. 
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has suggested dates for holding the proposed debate on economic policies with the National Peoples Power (NPP). 
Rescuers have reached the crash site of the helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi, Iran s semi-official Tasnim news agency.
