SriLankan Airline CEO Richard Nuttall said that the government is on its way to privatise several state-owned enterprises as part of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program and one of those is the flag carrier of the island nation. 
Muslim pilgrims have been streaming into Saudi Arabia s holy city of Mecca ahead of the start of the Hajj later this week, as the annual pilgrimage returns to its monumental scale. 
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed the second review under the 48-month Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement, allowing the authorities to draw SDR 254 million (about US$336 million).

The Meteorology Department forecasts that several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
