The Colombo Chief Magistrate s Court has delivered an order against the protest march planned to be staged by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) employees union near the Polduwa Junction in Welikada police area tomorrow (24). 
The court order preventing the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from ousting its members Mahinda Amaraweera, Duminda Dissanayake, and Lasantha Alagiyawanna from their respective party positions has been extended. 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe emphasized the peril of politicizing education, warning that such a move would inevitably lead to the nation s downfall. 
The three-day adjournment debate on the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks will be taken up in parliament today (24) in accordance with a motion brought forward by the Opposition. 
Weerasena Gamage of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) was sworn in as a Member of Parliament on Wednesday (24).
