A group of 315 Sri Lankan expatriates stranded in Oman have returned to the island, says Ada Derana correspondent. 
The EU said on Thursday it was on track to hit its target of vaccinating 70 percent of adults by the end of the summer although progress remains sluggish, while the global coronavirus death toll topped 2.5 million. 
The United States has urged Sri Lanka to make public a strategy and timetable for the implementation of recommendations in the report compiled by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet. 
Covid-19 infections registered in Sri Lanka crossed 82,000 as 247 more persons were tested positive today (February 26).
