The Colombo High Court has fixed the case filed against Yoshitha Rajapaksasecond son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksaand his maternal grandmother Daisy Forrest, also known as "Daisy Achchi," to be heard on July 11. 
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that as of now, a total of 29,015 electricity breakdowns have been reported across the country due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions. 
The Disaster Management Center (DMC) reports that a total of 1,757 individuals from 485 families have been affected by the adverse weather conditions currently impacting the island. 
Former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board (NLB), Thusitha Halloluwa, has been remanded until June 2 by the Fort Chief Magistrate s Court, said Ada Derana reporter. 
Several areas in and around Colombo sustained significant damage last night (29) as strong winds swept through the city, toppling trees and disrupting traffic movement. 
A total of 10 kilograms and 323 grams of cocaine has been seized at the arrival terminal of Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake during a joint operation conducted this morning (May 30) by officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) and Sri Lanka Customs.
