The proposed electricity sector reforms have been published in the government gazette on Wednesday (17), as the Sri Lanka Electricity Bill . 
The Government of Sri Lanka says it hopes to continue discussions with the bondholders with a view to reaching common ground ahead of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board consideration of the second review of Sri Lanka s Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. 
Indonesian authorities issued a tsunami alert Wednesday after eruptions at Ruang mountain sent ash thousands of feet high. Officials ordered more than 11,000 people to leave the area.
