A person has reportedly died by electrocution after coming into contact with an unauthorized electric fence erected in a field near the playground at Nuge Junction area in Badulla. 
Laugfs Gas has also decided to reduce the price of it s LP gas cylinders with effect from midnight today (4). 
Due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, it has been decided to close schools in several districts of the island today (04).
