The acceptance of applications for the admission of students into the intermediate grades of national schools will conclude tomorrow (June 02), the Ministry of Education says. 
At least two persons have been reported missing in the Thawalama area in Galle due to floods, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) reported. 
The Kaduwela-Biyagama interchange of the Southern Expressway has been closed to and from Kadawatha until further notice, Ada Derana reporter said
The Ministry of Education has decided that all schools across the island will remain closed tomorrow, according to State Minister of Education Aravind Kumar.
