The Joint Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine (JCPSM) has announced that it will commence a strike tomorrow (June 5), citing several unresolved demands, including issues related to the healthcare sector. 
Former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board (NLB), Thusitha Halloluwa, has been further remanded until Friday (June 6), said Ada Derana reporter.
In his first month, Pope Leo has taken a very different approach to his predecessor Francis. 
Around 20,000 people are being evacuated from their homes in the German city of Cologne as experts try to defuse three Second World War bombs.
