Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader Sajith Premadasa has reiterated that Sri Lanka s debt agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) would be amended under an SJB government in the future. 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe called upon the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), the Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) and other political parties to extend their support to the government in safeguarding the agreements forged with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 
Sri Lanka s gross official reserves (GOR) stood at USD 5 billion by the end of March 2024, recording a notable increase compared to USD 4.4 billion at the end of 2023. 
Police have revealed more information regarding drugs worth about Rs. 150 million, suspected to belong to an organized criminal known as Dubai Kapila , seized during a raid conducted near the University of Sri Jayawardenapura today (02).
