President Ranil Wickremesinghe expressed his dedication to fostering an economic landscape in the nation that would prevent future struggles among its citizens. Sri Lanka and Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a view to working together to promote the boating and yachting industries. 
At least 118 inmates escaped from prison after heavy rains on Wednesday night damaged the facility in Suleja near the Nigerian capital, a prison service spokesperson said.
