A woman who was traveling on a motorcycle has been killed in an accident that occurred after her handbag was caught on the body of a lorry passing by. 
The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather alert, warning that extreme heat can be expected in parts of the island tomorrow (20). 
Police have arrested a foreign woman and a local who were in possession of drugs in the Toppass area of Nuwara Eliya.
