State Minister for Home Affairs, Ashoka Priyantha, announced that the Grama Niladhari Service Constitution has been approved by the Public Service Commission following the approval of the Cabinet Ministers. 
The Sri Lankan delegation, led by Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Aruni Wijewardana, is set to participate in the 13th round of Diplomatic Consultations with the People s Republic of China to be held on June 17 in Beijing. 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe emphasized that he has not deviated from the principles of the democratic socialist system in Sri Lanka. 
The Colombo Magistrate s Court has ordered for five luxury vehicles, seized by the Bribery Commission after it was found that they had been imported by submitting false information to the Department of Motor Traffic, to be handed over to Sri Lanka Customs. 
The Sri Lanka Railway Station Masters Union has decided to launch trade union action over several demands including the issues pertaining to promotions.
