The Sri Lanka Electricity Bill , which incorporates the proposed reforms for the electricity sector, was presented to the parliament by Power Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera on Thursday (25). 
The United Nations called Tuesday for "a clear, transparent and credible investigation" of mass graves uncovered at two major hospitals in war-torn Gaza that were raided by Israeli troops. 
UPDATE- Upul Shantha Sannasgala, who was arrested earlier on Thursday has been released on bail, on the orders of Welisara Magistrate s Court. 
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has suspended public duties to "stop and reflect" on whether to remain in the job, after a court opened a preliminary inquiry into his wife.
