VFS Global, the company at the center of controversy surrounding the issuance of on arrival visa at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), has issued a statement today in response to accusations and to clarify certain concerns which have been raised. 
Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles says that action will be taken against the person who had caused a disturbance recently in the visa issuance section at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake. 
It was decided at the Cabinet meeting held today (06) to maintain the existing US $50 fee for a 30-day visa for foreigners visiting Sri Lanka, the President s Media Division reported. 
Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and 7 others have been further remanded until 20 May by the Maligakanda Magistrate s Court over the import of substandard human immunoglobulin vials.
