Parliament is scheduled to convene from June 3 (Tuesday) to June 6 (Friday) according to Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera. 
Former Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage, who was arrested and remanded in connection with the case filed over the importation of a shipment of substandard organic fertiliser from a Chinese company during the previous administration, has been granted bail, Ada Derana reporter said. 
An officer attached to the Consulate General of India in Jaffna has died following a tragic road accident in Omanthai, Vavuniya this morning (26), according to Omanthai Police.
