Sri Lanka s Government must take meaningful action to determine and disclose the fates and whereabouts of tens of thousands of people who have been subjected to enforced disappearance over the decades and hold those responsible to account, a UN Human Rights Office report released today (May 17) says. 
The National War Heroes Day ceremony is scheduled to be held on Sunday (19) evening at the Parliament Ground and a special traffic plan to be implemented on that day was announced by Police today. 
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has highlighted Sri Lanka s commendable macroeconomic policies, rapid inflation decline, and steady economic growth.
