A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi suffered a "hard landing" on Sunday, Iranian state media reported, without immediately elaborating. 
The National Building and Research Organisation (NBRO), on Sunday (May 19) issued Level 01 and Level 02 early landslide warnings for several localities in eight districts, effective until 04.00 p.m. tomorrow (May 20). 
Rescuers have reached the crash site of the helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi, Iran s semi-official Tasnim news agency. 
Vietnam has nominated its Public Security Minister To Lam as its new president, state media said on Saturday, after his predecessor resigned in the ongoing anti-corruption campaign that has shaken up the country s political establishment. 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed the resumption of the "Suraksha" student insurance program, which was temporarily suspended due to economic challenges.
