The National People s Power (NPP) says that, under its administration, proper legal action will be instituted against those implicated, either directly or indirectly, in the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks that killed more than 250 people and injured hundreds of others. 
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has reportedly summoned Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, a Catholic Priest and a spokesperson of the Archdiocese of Colombo. 
The Meteorology Department says showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m. 
Sri Lanka may reach a deal with investors to restructure its $12 billion in defaulted global bonds by mid-May, according to strategists at Standard Chartered.
