Delivering a special statement to Parliament today (18), President Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the proposed Imputed Rental Income Tax will exempt a person s first property. 
The Coconut Development Authority has stated that there is no valid reason for an increase in the price of coconut oil in the local market. 
The prevailing rainy condition in the South-western part of the island is expected to somewhat enhance in the next few days from tomorrow (19), according to the Meteorology Department.
