The preference vote results of the Polonnaruwa District have been released. 
The National People s Power (NPP) has secured victories in the Colombo-North, Maharagama, Awissawella and Puttalam polling divisions. 
The National People s Power (NPP) has already secured a two-thirds majority in Parliament after winning a total of 123 seats in the House in the 2024 General Election. 
The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Jaffna District in the 2024 General Election with the National People s Power (NPP) polling more than 24% of the total votes in the district.
