The Meteorology Department says showers or thundershowers will occur over most places of the Island during the afternoon or night. 
The Israeli military said Saturday that they had killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah militant group, in a strike in Beirut on Friday. 
The U.S. announced an agreement with the Iraqi government Friday to wrap up the military mission in Iraq of an American-led coalition fighting the Islamic State group by next year, with U.S. troops departing some bases that they have long occupied during a two-decade-long military presence in the country. 
The Israeli military said it struck Hezbollah s headquarters in Beirut on Friday in a series of massive explosions that targeted the leader of the militant group and leveled multiple high-rise apartment buildings. 
The Meteorology Department says showery conditions are expected to enhance during the next few days starting today (27), due to the low-level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.
