The Colombo District Court today rejected the petition filed by Duminda Dissanayake seeking an interim injunction preventing Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe from functioning as the Chairman and Keerthi Udawatta as Acting General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP). 
The Ella - Wellawaya main road will be temporarily closed for traffic from 6.00 p.m. today (16) until 6.00 a.m. tomorrow due to the prevailing inclement weather conditions. 
A former executive member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Montague Sarathchandra has filed a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against former President Maithripala Sirisena.
