The Colombo Magistrate s Court has ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to expedite the probes related to the X-Press Pearl maritime disaster. 
In the first quarter of 2024, state revenue has reached an impressive Rs. 834 billion, says State Minister of Finance, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya. This achievement not only surpasses the projected revenue but also indicates a growth of 6%, he added. 
Five individuals including Ven. Ulapane Sumangala Thero who were remanded over the charges of obstructing the duties of public officials, have been granted bail. 
The re-scrutinized results of the 2022(2023) G.C.E. O'L examination will be released before the 2023 (2024) O'L examination, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha said. Copyright © 2007 - 2024 Col3neg. All Rights Reserved.
