Actress Damitha Abeyratne and her husband were granted bail on the orders of the Colombo Fort Magistrate s Court on Wednesday (24). 
President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday expressed gratitude to Iran for their technical support, emphasizing that without Iran s assistance, Sri Lanka could not have diverted the Uma Oya tributaries into Kirindi Oya. 
The Colombo District Court has delivered a permanent injunction preventing former President Maithripala Sirisena from functioning as the chairman of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP). 
Iran stands ready to share its knowledge, expertise and experience with Sri Lanka for the progress and development of the country, including partnerships in large-scale projects, says Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi.
